I have what I believe to be a 1982 Nautilus System Vigier Bass. Can anyone give me more info about it? What's something like this worth? Any clue as to how many were made? The only info or even picture I can find on my bass is featured on the companies wikipedia page!

hi i have tha same bass serial no 174 .1982 model with foot controller. i have owned since 1994 purchased in UK from Andy`s guitar shop in Denmark St London for £800. mine is shown in the ULTIMATE GUITAR BOOK by Tony Bacon, published by Dorling Kindersley in 1991. some info in book but not much,.. i use the bass occasionally, works fine usually, sometimes it forgets its programmed sound on odd no`s (mainly no 10 and 11) some years ago i had a electronics expert make me up a longer feed lead to foot controller and that cost £100..... however no further prob`s there. i have been offered £1500. for the bass and matching case etc, but am not selling. hope this is of help as your .post is 5 years old, (only just joined the forum) i believe only 4 were made for sale?? i might be wrong. regards Syd. ps pictures to follow.... my tech ability , not great
