As an owner of Excess (since 2004) and Arpege (since 2011), my dream 4 string Vigier bass guitar would probably be:
- An Excess bass;
- stock Benedetti pickups from the Excess;
- the preamp from the Arpege (i.e. three band EQ for each pickup which is just brilliant);
- the walnut finish from the Excalibur below, which I think is fantastic!
- maple fingerboard;
- matching headstock;
- black hardware rather than chrome.
To be honest, even a standard specification Arpege or Excess in the walnut finish below would be enough for me!
