You should make Excaliburs and Ultra Blues 7-string models, with optional ebony fretboards, and make the neck joint less blocky (like an Ibanez All Access Neck Joint). Lately 7 string models have started becoming much more popular outside of the metal scene, in genres like jazz and blues and rock, because the extended range is always good.Vigier instruments are incredibly high quality and have a lot of revolutionary features (like the 0 fret and 10/90 system) but the old block-style neck joint seems very out of place on such a great instrument. Also, especially on the Ultra Blues instrument, I think the fretboard radius should be larger and the frets should be larger as well -- 11" seems too small for me, when in blues music you like to do large bends without fretting out (Albert King would do two whole tone bends for example). Larger frets also help with bending and vibrato so it seems like a natural choice. Also, if you had a custom shop, I would absolutely order a 7 string Ultra Blues with extra large frets, an ebony fretboard, and a larger neck radius.A greater variety of body woods would be nice as well. It's a pretty rare choice but I enjoy all maple bodied guitars. So overall:+ Thinner necks+ Larger frets+ Flatter neck profile+ Slimmer neck joint+ Ebony fretboards+ Maple bodies+ More 7 stringsThey are very high quality instruments though. I think the only non-custom guitar I've played that was better quality was an Ibanez J-custom Prestige 8427BX.

Our neck
joint is like this for a sound reason, have you tried an Excalibur 7 strings? We
do not feel it !

We do not use ebony because it is unstable, I have a Vigier like that and it
moves all the time and the ebony is over 30 year old :=)

For the frets I agree with you and it is possible on special order.

Our radius is flatter than what you mention, it is 11,81, we do not have the
tool to make it flatter but we can make it flat.

Well , it has nothing to do with martins suggestions, but i would really like to see (as i said earlier) the Memory guitar you were developing, to hit production some time. :)

I need to find somebody that can make it the way I want.

Please don't ever make the Vigier necks as thin as some of these Ibanez necks. I've played Ibanez RG for years but I don't like thin wizard necks anymore - it feels unnatural.I like the Vigier neck the way it is

Hi from the UK!I'd actually like to see a 1 11/16" nut option, and a bridge humbucker on the Expert. Also, two tone controls! Don't make the standard neck any thinner!

I like the neck profile. I would like to see a Mahogany bodied carved top excalibur - Chambered Mahogany body - Carved flame maple top (like suhr cavred tops) - HSH - Jumbo frets - Body color in same color (not black, it shows scratches easily) - 2011 trem - same neck
