dear patrice,

is there a quilted maple top option on your guitars? i'm very interested in an excalibur special with one humbucker two singlecoils, and a quilted maple top in a strong transparent violet color. Is that possible?

thank you for your answer. kind regards, george

Hi George,             We use a flamed maple for our tops and at present there is not a quilted maple option.... after seeing some of the pieces of wood in the factory I have to say the flamed maple we use is absolutely stunning.

Yes right now we use wood that we can select, therefore wood that grow in our country. There is no quilted maple in France, only flamed maple, you know the variety that Stradivarius used

Agreed. In fact, I find flamed is even better looking than quilted, although that's all personal preference of course.
