Hy Vigier family,

I have a short question because I have unfortunately not received an answer to the last questions about the contact form. After about 13 years, my Marliyn now needs a new Zero Fret, as the old one is worn out. Can you change it yourself and if so where can you order a new one?

Hope to get an answer from the tech support.

Thanks and all the best...

Eric

Yes, vey easy to replace. You need a blade (stanley) to 'pop' out the old Zero Fret. The new ones just then push in. Takes seconds and you do not need to be skilled to do it.

You should be able to order from a reputable dealer in your region - contact your distributor if unsure.

For your other request, where was this (did you send directly to the factory)?

Thanks for you answer.

I send a couple messages direct via your contact formular but those where not answered till today.

I try to get a Zero Fret at my local dealer (normal guitar shop with a little workshop).

Thought you can ship such a littel piece direct from you workshop in france...

Are they very special or just regular "standard" ZERO frets? My Mary was bought direct back in 2006. (Nr. 254)

Thanks again

Eric

Ok, I can't say for them answering over in the factory…the team is very small, despite what people think, so they do not have time to always check emails etc - that is most likely the wait.

Vigier does not sell/ship direct. It would have to go through the official channels set-up in place and they always recommend Vigier parts for any replacements.

Ok, thanks for the answer. Where can I buy it here in Germany? Which retailer distributes them?

The Link on your German Distribiuters Page dosn't work correct.

Greetings from germany

No probs! Let me know if you still have any issues...and beware a small delay for them to answer.
