Hello to all. For the last three years I've had light strings, (35-55-75-95) but now I want to bring the bass to it's original tension. I believe that was (40-60-80-100) but I'm thinking (45-70-85-105)

Will the neck tension be a problem? If so, can someone tell me what to do, since there is no truss rod?

Thank you my fellow bassists!

Hi, no, you will not have any problems with the neck. that is the beautiful thing about the vigier necks. The 10/90 construction keeps the necks perfectly in shape. I have changed string gauges many times on my Excess and the neck doesn't budge. So knock yourself out ;)Cheers
