I wanted to ask the Vigier team (and of course the Vigier owners), if they have ever considered providing or making available fret protectors for the guitars (à la ESP/Suhr):
In particular, I think it could be very beneficial to minimize the zero fret wear while storing or having the guitar idle, if that protector would slide between strings and the zero-fret.
It may sound like a bit troublesome to slide it beneath the strings in tension but maybe worth it ... would take just a few seconds to set in place, and provide a much better life to our zero-fret friend,... don't you think?
Any thoughts anyone? Any other zero-fret life-extender idea?
