The problem is there absolutely no sence of community here...I think I had like 5 posts without reply...and I am not the only one...I'm a low income guy and I bought a 3000 dollar guitar so I was happy to share my purchase, so I post it and praise the instrument and everything...I got 0 reply...nobody answer nobody here!!! I mean before you post replies, all the last posts were by me , unanswer!!...except for Ben...If I didn't express my feeling toward the forum I don't think I would have been answer!!

Well... you have to remember that many of the people in this forum are from the Europe... and July and August are the months, when most people here have their annual vacation. Also the sad news about Patrice's father might have had an effect on some people here - I know it has kept me from posting for the last few weeks. Patrice, please let me express my deepest condolences for your loss.Anyway... I got my new Vigier bass on July 25, and it is simply amazing! During the four weeks I have had it, I have noticed that the more I play it, the more I love it, and I seem to be learning new stuff all the time. I just hope that one day I am able to play well enough to justify the instrument.

Wow Man ...even you reply sounds self oriented...this the weidest forum I ever been...you just confirm this to me...you guys should check Harmony CenTral...especially Amp Forum...there, you by an amp , you post and you  get 20 replies minimum...where people are happy for you and discusse it with you...their experience with it... you know the normal * ...Hmmm... Sorry I guess you don't know about that stuff!!!

LOL.. I dont know where to start!!  its like FLAT!!  HAHAH,..  Ok.. I can start here.    From different radius guitars,  and the guitars have been 22 frets.  I almost get lost upstairs on  23/24 LOL!!    but my hand position used to change and roll with the neck on the ol radiused necks. like a violin.  I dont roll my hand anymore and found I can play faster longer!  its like I have less fatiuge!  Legato is so easy!! I found having to learn to play lighter than ever before and I thought I played light before!  nope!!  HAHAHA..   the only strange thing about it,  is when you look at it!  it seems concaved since I am used to the raduis's of the other gutiars.    but its flat!  it was a mind trip for the first week until I got usd to it.  The ONLY thing I am planning to change is darker pickups.  maybe some duncan JB/59 mix.  the air notrons have a little to much air for me.  I like a little meat (darker) on a guitar.  even though I play more melodicly than a shreder ( I dont consider myself a shreder anyway! LOL).  Intersting?  Yes! The tremolo is SMOOOOOTH.

Yes it is!!   wide vibrato stays cleaner is seems,  I also seem to find that I dampen strings better as well.  I dont know why that is.   it also can get loose feeling when getting a little wilder with the leads on multiple strings but yet it holds it all together tonaly, and playability!   I cant do that with any of my other guitar.  seems like the strings are actually floating in air at that point.   hahaha.. I have .9-.42s on it.   Wonder what that is like compared to yours?

The main advantage of the Shawn Lane is that you can have a very low action (0,7mm/0.0275") and still be able to bend strings.
