I just registered today and want to say 'hello' to everyone ! It's good to be here...
I got my surfreter special in January 2007 and recently bought another one 2nd hand:

It was interesting to notice that the neck of the 'old' one (s/n 000288)
feels a bit slimmer than the new one. There's a marked difference...
Patrice, can you confirm this ? Both necks are absolutely great !
You can see/hear the new one in the videos I uploaded... best, Paul

0,11 ?! but I heard that if you use the 0,11 you get much less sustain , but this could be just an urban myth ...

Oke, yesterday I tried the 12's on my vigier supra But suddendly I got alot of anoying buzzing. When i'd wanted to adjust the neck of the guitar, I found its was not possible(no trust rod) after that I tried the 0,13's again Ddario's but now the G-string buzzes a little, i've got 3 theorys .. * is the neck of a supra fragile for climat chances ? becaus it's summer now... *I've heard that there's a littel differance between the GHSBoomers 13's and the ddarrio ones. with the boomers i had no buzzing.. *i'm just an idiot I still love this guitar ! Vigier keep up the good work

FWIW I've gone from12 to 009 to 13 on my Supra without any issues. Can you see where the string makes contact that causes the buzz?

Well it buzzed between the 3rd and the 5th fret and it realy buzzed alot when i was sliding,, BUT I just finisched putting Boomers on the guitar (again) and all is fine!  '' No buzzing'' I ask the storedude if it was posible that there's a diffreance between Ddaddrio 13 and Ghs 13 ,, and they are often a little diffrent in material and how the stings are made( how many times wounded etc ) , the ghs works fine with me. maby i'll try the Ernie balls later ,, not for a long time dough , strings are very expensive ...
