Hello! I am a Norwegian guy 17 years old and I have gotten quite fascinated by the fretless guitars Vigier makes after hearing Ron Thal's music (also met him and almost got to try out his guitars, but they were already packed away when we got to the stage)

But anyways:

So I am inhereting some money soon and will most likley get enough to buy a Surfreter, but I see here on the website that there is Surfreter Special and Surfreter Supra. I checked the info and could only find one difference and that was that the special has a flamed maple top and the body isn't "arched" or what it's called? (The bump in your body where you rest your arm... sorry about not knowing the proper word..)

So I wanted to ask if there really is anything different about these two when playing or the sound?

Sorry if it is a stupid question

- Mats

I confirmed, you red right, the difference is only the maple top on the Surfreter Special. Beside that the two models are identical.

It is cosmetic, it does not affect much the sound.
