Hi everyone, this is my first message on this forum.

I've recently received a Passion III guitar No.345 in a trade but the trem bar is broken. Is there anywhere I could get a replacement one? Or does anyone know if any other trem bar will fit?

Also, does anyone have any documentation about in the guitar like preamp specs etc?

Lastly, I'm wondering how do I adjust the bridge for action and intonation? And there's a hex bolt in the trem cavity, does that adjust anything or does it just hold the bridge?

Thanks for any help and i'll get pictures when I get a chance.

Cheers,
John

Here's a web site I've stumbled across in my web travels that has some Passion III documentation, as well as other older models:http://www.vigierguitars.net/gmanuals/gfmvp6.htm

There are some technical specs here, but you are probably looking for more details than are here on the preamp:http://www.vigierguitars.net/gcatalog/gfcvp6.htmlPerhaps, someone from Vigier will respond.  They often do as you have probably noticed from reading older posts.

Thanks for the link. I should be able to figure out how to set it up:) I'd still be interested to know a bit more about the preamp and trem bar if anyone from Vigier could help? Cheers, John

Very Nice!  Looks like you found one with a 100% carbon fibre neck.  Those are harder to find.  Thanks for posting the pics.

Thanks, it's number 345 which makes it a late 1990 model. Do you know if the carbon was an option or standard for a while?

My understanding is that both the Arpege III and Passion III first used the 100% carbon fibre neck then later went to the 10/90 system, but I could be wrong.

The other thing I like about this generation was that it has Benedetti pickups.  Later on I believe they went to Seymour Duncans, which are still nice pickups, but I like the Bendettis.

Thanks for adding the pictures properly Ben:) Does anyone know any more about the pickups on this guitar? I've tried to find out more but i'm not sure what models they are are there isn't much info on Benedetti on the net.
