Hi, I recently just ordered a new Indus model with a rosewood fingerboard, if I want to swap it out with a maple fingerboard in the future is there a way I could buy a new neck? As I understand they are bolt so thus interchangable.

Same here, well eventually, can you tell me a price please? My fingerboard is wearing down slightly on a few of the frets. I play a Vigier Excalibur Ultra with a Rosewood fingerboard and its in Black Diamond (my favorite colour)

When you need a replacement neck, if you speak to one of our dealers (remember to quote your guitars serial number) they will be able to give you the price.

Ben,If you give the dealer the serial no# does that mean you can only get an exact replacement? or can you request a different fingerboard? I've been thinking about getting a spare neck with rosewood board to replace the maple boarded neck I have and to soften the sound slightly. Also (off topic) - did you catch the Pye Shoppe / Ascendancy set at the Winnie Gate on friday?

Hi James,             You can request a different fingerboard, that is no problem. I did not go to the show on Friday, was it good?

Colin and the rest of Pye Shoppe were on top form, and without sounding arrogant, I think that we (Ascendancy) held our own pretty well to.

Ben, When you order a replacement neck, can you order it with the nut left uncut, as on my Ultra the nut is cut too low on the bottom E and i was using the trem last night and the 1st and 2nd strings were getting trapped in the nut when returning to pitch.Love the playability, hate my luck with top nuts.

Mines acquired a buzz around the first fret on the high E - I wonder if the extreme weather climate has affected the action? I think I'd prefer one with the nut un-slotted.

It's unlikely the neck has moved but the zero fret may need replacing?

can you sell a Surfreter replacement neck also? I also had a question about the surfreter radius:  has it always been 9,84 as currently indicated on your spec chart, or did it used to be wider? Mine is  a black surfreter standard, , serial number 000332. I seem to remember researching it a few years ago, and thought the radius was closer  to 12 in. ...thanks,msd

Ask the nut cut for your gauge, we have 3 sizes, and everything will be fine.

Merci Patrice, for the answer, that helps!  so if a Surfreter replacement neck is available,  would i contact the US distributor? Je viens a Paris en Octobre, is it possible to visit the factory and perhaps get one there?
