Buzzing frets on my Excalibur Special

Hi

I own a Vigier Excalibur Special with a maple fretboard (which might matter). The guitar is second hand but still in excellent condition. The only problem is that a few (two) of the frets (11 and 14) are buzzing when I bend a note. Especially when it's the low E-string. There is no noticeable fret wear as the previous (first) owner did not play it that much (mostly chords I guess). I already increased the string action somewhat but it should not be the solution. This problem is isolated to two frets and the other frets play fantastic even with very low action. So I don't want to compensate the playability for a few bad frets.

The previous owner confessed to me that he had dropped the guitar once on stage (now it has straplocks). It might have to do something with that.

I have some experience with sanding my fretboard but it was a much cheaper instrument...

Any help would be appreciated!

Jasper

You must ask a luthier to surface your frets so the frets with problems get aligned with the others.

Thanks Patrice for quick the reply! So this means that you do not advice doing it yourself, or would you say that with proper care it can be done?Regards, Jasper

By all means, I would love to! Just tell me what to do. I hate the idea of having some guy ruin my guitar. I would have to miss it though for a few days/weeks which I don't like... ;-) Jasper

This has to be done by a luthier.
