Hi there,

I've started using 11-49 gauge strings on my excalibur custom.  Feels and sounds awesome! just wanted to know, will it put the neck under too much stress?  the neck seems really solid to me, is the carbon fibre construction stronger than a neck with a normal truss rod in it?

Thanks!

Phil

Hi there,I have 13-56 strings on a Supra, and I can tell you that the neck can take it hands down. That neck is rock solid.

Yes, indeed they are. I've been playing these things now for about 3+ years and absolutelybeating the living daylights out of them......without any problems at all, just re-string, tune up and rock out, exellent guitars!!!!!!

Use the strings you like, your guitar will thank you, if it inspires you.

I have a Excalibur. Can I change to 0,09-0,42 without any set-up?.

You might have to tweak the intonation slightly.

Any string gauge change, on any guitars, require a new setup.
