Hi!

I feel like strings are a little bit high - I would like to set the tremolo a little bit lower.

Usually, with regular Floyds, I have to tune down all strings before turning the two tremolo mounting screws to adjust its height - this way I don't harm tremolo "knives". This is particularly important with "licensed" tremolos.

Do I have to do the same thing with the Vigier tremolo? It seems these screws are not related to the movement at all and it's safe to just turn them...

Are there any tips/hints?

Thanks!!!

P.S. I've started exploring the instrument after getting used to it...

You can leave the tension, it will not damage the bearings, it is a Vigier

Patrice, indeed! The most beautiful and versatile guitar in the world!!! Worked perfectly...what a comfort it is to simply adjust the height, with no headache at all! Thank you so much for what you are doing!!!
