Anyone using 10's on their SL Master ? What about 11's ? 9's are just to thin sounding but I worry about the the nut slots and increasing the pull on the neck.

I use 10-52 on all my Vigier guitras (Ultra's, Indus and Expert). I did have the nut cut for this gauge and they play perfect!

If you change the string gauge, you need to adjust the nut.

i had the same impression, but i did go with 9s.(+ i was to lazy to work on the nut)i first thought, that they were thin-sounding, but i think it's just a mind thing. the vigier sounds fatter on my amp than my JEM (which has 10s;and the larger scale of course).
