Black Vigier Arpege fretless bass with the unique Delta metal f/board (lined). Full parametric EQ with cut and boost, plus active (on or off). Coil tap switch. Two jack sockets, one for DI (bypassing circuitry) and one using the circuitry. Super action. With original case. Bought new in UK (1987-8) - must be one of the first to have been imported. Extremely versatile high-end instrument. Active electronics powered by two 9v batteries produce powerful output. A few minor marks (mainly headstock edges and a couple of small bruises/dings on the neck - f2 on the G side; f7 on the E side) plus a cover on the back of one of the machines missing (awaiting a response from Schaller re. this), but otherwise in very good and original condition (as shown in the photos) and with no modifications. It also comes with an early/original Vigier hardcase (rectangular/*) which I've not seen before. Several EQ/sound options: straight out of DI (top jack socket) which bypasses active circuitry. Side jack socket and using the parametric - one knob selects frequency and the other cuts or boosts (active circuitry still not yet in use, but great sounds). All ON - using EQ with active electronics (you need to pull up the volume control for the additional boost). Not used the coil tap switch much ? but it's there if you want it. Using the combinations of parametric EQ and active switch as well you can access some absolutely awesome sounds.

Controls as originally supplied on this bass:-

The potentiometer (knob) near the bridge pickup = volume + boost @+20dB (pull-up the knob)

Pickups toggle (3 positions: Neck - Both - Bridge)

The next Knob/control is the ? 15dB potentiometer that controls the parametric EQ (pull it up to put it on)

Next to this is the parametric pot that allows you to choose frequency between 80Hz and 4,2 kHz (*does not work if the previous one - Parametric EQ is not pulled-up)

Small toggle puts the pickups out of phase (only when both pickups are selected)

Last is the tone control potentiometer (knob).

There is the jack (side) and also a direct output (top).

This is a series I Arpege, hand crafted and completed in Nov.86

?999 o.n.o. (to include UK Courier - I'm based in the UK)
