Agree - to go with my Ecstasy I now have a Shiva 20th anniversary 1x12 combo - stunning and can cover high-gain with a breeze as well as taking pedals very well.

Help Me ID My new Excalibur!

Yes, we produce more Excalibur guitars with trems than fixed bridge. It is possible that the pickups were from an Indus, but without looking under the hood there is no way to tell. Whatever it is, that is a nice guitar - personally I prefer fixed bridge, I think they are more resonant.

Best passive pickups for Excalibur Ultra?

The are not as high output as the Tone Zone (and to my ears) are more musical, with a fatter, warmer tone.

It sounds like the best bet is to find a local professional luthier that is able to fix your electronics, maybe try local music stores or forums/notice boards?

Unfortunately there will always be guitarists that buy with their eyes, that will never change…fortunately those that actually care about the build/sound of their instruments will seek out quality.

Contact Reidy's, Peach or Wildwire in the UK. Reidy's should have stock of both right now - all of them can ship to you in Germany easily.
