I've been using a dimarzio cable which has the switchcraft plug and it fits much better than the other make i used - no wobbling. I just received a rapcohorizon roadhog cable also with switchcraft ends and a perfect fit - this lead seems to have improved the tone too.

Got a g7th. Looks great on a vigier - modern looking capo on a modern looking guitar.

Will frequently changing to different tunings wear out the zero fret quicker?

<r><p>Have you checked at the bridge where the string sits on a groove on the roller type thing. Everything is secure. Checked under scratch plate and nothing loose. May have to get it Smart Guitars sometime. I can live with it in the meantime if i Keep my thigh out of the way of that area or allow sufficient slack in the cable when i fed it behind my strap.

I have been using Kyser capos but have read recommendations to use a capo with adjustable tension so I'm looking at G7th or Shubb capos. Anyone use either of these and what do you think of them?

Hi, can anyone help regarding the two black parts of the 2011 trem (they are in front of the needles system and fit around the two bridge posts that screw into the guitar body): should they be touching the guitar body?

Everyday a new discovery... It's the saddle screws. They need to be just tight enough - finger tight with the allen wrench wasn't enough so added about a 1/4 turn extra seemed to work.

Straplocks

I am using Dimarzio ClipLock straplocks. Just working fine for me. When packing into Vigier hard case, I have to place the end clip (trem end of guitar) on a cloth on the guitar body just in case it marks the guitar.
