I have an Ultra Blues, an Excalibur Speciaal, an Expert Classic Rock, and a GV semi-hollow. Levy’s fit the original screw perfectly, but their only chrome option is satin chrome. For that reason, I recently got the Ernie Ball equivalent of the Levy’s strap locks. What adjustments would be necessary when increasing the string gauges on a surfreter with a brass nut? Also, what level of string tension can these necks realistically take without the risk of damage?
